My journey into healing practices began through personal experience. While successfully overcoming a significant health challenge through holistic methods, including a rigorous detox and energy healing, I discovered my calling to support others on their wellness journey. This led me to train under Rebecca Donaghue, becoming licensed and certified in energy and sound healing and starting a sound bath in Glasgow during my PhD studies.
My approach integrates extensive experience in movement and sound. With classical dance training and over two decades as a professional artist, I hold a BA (Hons) in Sonic Art and an MA from the Royal College of Art. Currently, as a postdoctoral researcher at the Guildhall Conservatoire, I explore the therapeutic potential of audio-visual experiences which incorporate extended reality technologies, focusing on the transformative properties of sound frequency, vibration, and colour. I believe art and sound are medicine. I am passionate about bridging the gap between science and creativity.
This unique combination of artistic practice, academic research, and healing modalities allows me to offer a grounded, evidence-informed approach to wellness. Drawing on my background in performance and sound art, I create personalised therapeutic experiences that engage both body and mind.
I chose to practice under my grandmother's name. It was her real name and I respectfully honour a legacy of care and healing that connects generations. Through this work, I aim to facilitate transformative experiences that support your journey toward optimal wellbeing.
